Fiber Guy Cable Repair Terms & Conditions

  1. Inspection & testing fee is $132.00 per cable. Fee includes a full visual inspection and cable analysis report delivered to customer. Fees will be credited if further repairs are approved. Cleaning fees additional.

  2. No repairs will commence without written consent from the customer in the form of a Purchase Order or Signed Quotation. Any needed replacement parts, connectors, shells, boots, dust caps, marking rings etc. will be listed individually on the estimate.

  3. Final diagnostics available upon request of cable repair including Return Loss and Visual reports for each connector. 

  4. All completed work will carry a 1-Year Warranty under proper customer care and maintenance.

  5. A record will be kept on our server both for future reference and to allow the cross referencing of our database to the client's asset register.

  6. Typical repair times are 10 business days after inspection and signed approval of quoted charges for all in house repairs. Major repairs such as complete fanout replacements and fiber cable cut/terminate repairs are take typically 8-12 weeks. A possible rush can be completed for additional charges.

  7. To ensure the safety of our colleagues, transport personnel and employees performing inspection, repairs or disposal on this equipment, we reserve the right to reject products that may be considered hazardous or was used in such environments that may contain contaminants described below. In addition, by submitting the form above you acknowledge that, to the best of your knowledge and that of your colleagues, this cable is free from all potential contaminations such as but not limited to: Acids/Caustics, Asbestos, Biological, Carcinogens, Chemical, Contaminated Soil, Corrosives, Dusts/Mists, Explosives, Flammable Materials, Irritants, Mutagens, Oils, Poison, Radiation, Solvents, Teratogens, Human and Animal Wastes
